The development of hand-eye coordination, general fitness, and body movement begun at the previous level is age appropriately elevated here to fit the advanced abilities of older elementary school students. Training is geared towards developing speed, strength, endurance, confidence, focus and self-control, all skills that help children do well not merely in fencing, but in school and in other organized sports.
