In this class students will be introduced to basic 2D and 3D animation techniques using Minecraft characters and environments. Kids will expand their observation skills and imagination by studying motion in reality and learning how to translate it into realistic animation. Students will learn how animators work by creating one or more short animation projects while applying basic acting theories and animation principles to scenes they create. Younger Students will focus on fundamentals to create a short simple animation and older students will learn about more advanced features to create greater realism in projects with a larger scope. Artistic and the Cartooning drawing program combined the Artistic and the Cartooning curriculums to encourage your child’s enthusiasm for art with a great sense of humor. The Young Rembrandts™ artistic curriculum uses a structured stepwise format to teach elementary students useful drawing skills, focusing on artistic expression. Young Rembrandts™ Cartooning curriculum breaks down objects and ideas into simple shapes, then use exaggeration, caricature, and personification to playfully construct the animated characters in humorous settings.

Chess Wizards is a premier chess education company providing fun, informative and challenging chess lessons to students in PreK-8th grade. Our program is made for children at every step of their chess journey – no matter the skill level – with classes that build upon each other, starting with the basics and moving toward more advanced lessons as your child progresses from one session to the next. Chess Wizards teaches children how to problem solve, think critically, win graciously, and accept defeat with dignity and sportsmanship. Students will be divided into groups according to their chess experience. At the end of this session, each student would have had the chance to participate in a mini-chess tournament.

We teach students how to make their own versions of popular games, showing them how to take an idea and turn it into reality. This introductory game coding course uses Scratch, a coding tool developed by M.I.T. for elementary students. Using Scratch’s powerful visual coding interface students will be able to create scripts that can control art assets they create with only minimal typing. A perfect starting point for learning coding, logic, and game design skills. Games students make in this activity set: Pong Flappy Bird Falling Object Catcher Students can take our Scratch courses in any order, each class is standalone with no prerequisites. Difficulty levels are set by student age rather than prior knowledge.

This class incorporates ballet, tap, and jazz technique while also encouraging self-expression and creativity. High energy music is used throughout the class to get dancers moving and having fun!

Move over Coco, Gianni, Stella, and Ralph! There are some new fashion designers in town who can't wait to share their styles. Bring your creativity and self-expression to this fun course in which students will create their very own fashion line. We'll each name our own brand and create a logo, explore styles from different designers, and learn from actual fashion experts themselves as we design our own look books. We will also come up with ad campaigns and charity collaborations! Join us for a celebration of fashion and friendship in this unique course offering. This course will conclude with a final “Fashion Show” during which families will be invited to the classroom.
