A fun and exciting class where your children will learn the nuances of dribbling, passing, shooting and defense. Our coaches have extensive playing and coaching experience in both high school and college. The children will leave the class knowing the fundamentals and rules of the game. While focusing on the values that basketball teaches such as sportsmanship, teamwork, and hard work. All while having fun and enjoying the game.

Chess Wizards is a premier chess education company providing fun, informative and challenging chess lessons to students in PreK-8th grade. Our program is made for children at every step of their chess journey – no matter the skill level – with classes that build upon each other, starting with the basics and moving toward more advanced lessons as your child progresses from one session to the next. Chess Wizards teaches children how to problem solve, think critically, win graciously, and accept defeat with dignity and sportsmanship. Students will be divided into groups according to their chess experience. At the end of this session, each student would have had the chance to participate in a mini-chess tournament.

Edible Adventures is a fun and interactive cooking class designed just for kids, featuring delicious and easy no-bake recipes! In this class, young chefs will learn how to whip up treats and snacks without needing an oven! From colorful fruit parfaits to no-bake energy bites and tasty dips, kids will explore creativity in the kitchen while building confidence in food preparation. Foundational cooking skills will be taught, including proper techniques for measuring, mixing, slicing, dicing, and of course, kitchen safety!

This class is focused on learning the fundamentals and rules of the game to build a good foundation for the children. We will work on skills such as throwing, catching, playing defense, some simple strategies that are essential for playing football. Our coaches will lead the children in drills, to build up their skill level and we will play games at the end of class to reinforce their skills. We will also implement our S.T.E.M in Sport curriculum into the class. Most importantly we will emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship and fun.

The Grit Ninja has packed up equipment and is ready to turn Waverly into a unique ninja warrior obstacle course! During each action-packed class, aspiring ninjas will climb, swing, jump and run on our ever-changing equipment (which includes a rock wall traverse, monkey bars, grip gauntlet, cliffhanger, balance courses, warped walls, and so much more)! The program is designed by The Grit Ninja’s professional coaches – many of whom have competed on NBC’s American Ninja Warrior. Our coaches will guide ninjas as they tackle our fun obstacles that build strength, coordination, agility, balance, problem- solving skills, self-confidence and, most importantly, GRIT!

Using clay, fabric and other materials, we will make sculptures you can play with: bobbleheads, hand puppets, and other kinetic art.

In this fun course with Red Sprinkle, students will create art projects inspired by popular children’s books.

The world is constantly on the go all around us! Join us as we engineer and build cars, planes, boats, coasters and something out of this world! Through our studies of energy we will learn how to make our vehicles move at different speeds, and to great heights.
