STEM with LEGO w/ Code Ninja
This exciting after-school program for younger kids, focuses on learning STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) concepts through hands-on activities using LEGO bricks. This program will incorporate building and construction challenges, Newton’s law of motion, Math patterns and puzzles and simple engineering principles, allowing kids to engage in problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork.

Amusement Parks Engineering w/ Snapology

We bet your child loves going to amusement parks to experience the variety of fast, dropping, and spinning rides, but have they ever thought about the science that goes into building those rides and the people who are responsible for designing them? In Snapology’s Amusement Park Engineering class, students will become engineers of their LEGO amusement park rides and will learn the core physics and engineering concepts used to make a ride thrilling!

Our experienced instructors will guide students through hands-on projects, allowing them to express their unique artistic visions. From vibrant paintings to 3D sculptures, students will unleash their creativity and develop their artistic skills. Learn chess with Magnus Academy (formerly Silver Knights), world champion Magnus Carlsen’s academy! We've taught 100,000 children to play including state & national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games. Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies. Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments (in-person and online) outside of club time. This in-person club includes free online extras including weekly practice tournaments and an event with world champion Magnus Carlsen or Judit Polgar, the best female chess player of all time. We’ve taught 100,000 children to play including state & national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games. Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies. Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments (in-person and online) outside of club time. This in-person club includes free online extras including weekly practice tournaments, a Chesskid Gold membership ($69 value!), and an event with a chess celebrity. Last year's guests were World Champion Magnus Carlsen and Judit Polgar (the best female chess player of all time). All chess supplies provided. All skill levels are welcome

In this Star Wars®-inspired program, your youngling will explore the galaxy with their master building skills and our intergalactically-focused curriculum. Motivated to become Jedi like the heroes in the movies, students will learn to concentrate on mastering the Force, appreciating the use of teamwork to build battle drones and AT-Walkers using Lego bricks, and if they’re skills are up to par, make their very own lightsaber and use it in battle! May the force be with your young Padawan as they rise through the Jedi ranks!

Join Mudskippers Pottery as we shake off those Winter blues as we explore nature in Spring! Get ready to get your hands dirty and tackle Spring inspired projects that are sure to keep you entertained. You will work on hand-built projects as you take your pottery from start to finish, even glazing your own work! This Spring we will create pinch pot and slab lily pad candle holders, coil beehive shakers, and fish slab wall pockets. You don’t want to miss this chance to create memorable masterpieces you can cherish all year round! Come on and let’s get muddy!

Our chefs-in-training will learn how the addition of spices and herbs can transform food and provide added nutritional benefits too. Each class will highlight an herb or spice including basil, rosemary, garlic, vanilla, and cinnamon! We will make Black Bean Sliders, Rosemary Crackers, Enchiladas, and more! Our little chefs will build on their knowledge of cooking safety and the fundamental cooking techniques including peeling, breading, blending, melting, slicing, dicing, chopping and more.
